ABOUT THE FILM
Silence on the Streets is a documentary that brings a human lens to the illicit opioid crisis—centering the voices, experiences, and realities of inner-city communities often overlooked in mainstream narratives.
Through interviews, lived experiences, and community storytelling, the film moves beyond statistics to reveal the emotional, social, and systemic layers of addiction. It highlights not only the depth of the crisis, but also the resilience, recovery pathways, and prevention efforts emerging within these communities.
